Motor Oil & Filters
[Printer friendly page]

This section is going to address the age old question - which motor oil and which filter. I hope that everything presented here is factual. If you see any glaring errors, please let me know. If you have any oil links or information I could post, please also let me know. I'm going to try my best to be accurate and complete, but I'll need your help. Below is a list of links to oil-related information: Actually, if you want my opinion, I use Quaker State oil in most of my cars but I will be changing to an AmsOil Synthetic for the winter in my twin turbo 3000GT because I have noticed significant lifter tick when I first start the car with the petrol Quaker State. I am hoping the greater pour-ability at lower temperatures will prevent some of that. I will update this with the results.
